Meet the Leaders of Drew Marine

Drew Marine has a long history of successful leadership, dating back nearly a century. In a constantly-changing economic and industrial environment, corporate leadership has steered the company toward a bright future of sustainable profitability and worldwide growth.


Frank J. Monteiro

Frank was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a Board member of Drew Marine, in conjunction with Court Square Capital’s acquisition of the company in June 2019. From 1998-2013, Frank held various positions within MacDermid Incorporated, a global specialty chemicals company, including Treasurer, Vice President of Finance, and eventually Chief Financial Officer. MacDermid was a Court Square portfolio company from 2007-2013 which was sold to an investor group and went public on the New York Stock Exchange under the name Platform Specialty Products in October 2013. At that point, Frank was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Platform Specialty Products and served in that position until 2015. Frank spent his last two years at Platform as the Chief Operating Officer of MacDermid Performance Solutions, a $2.0 Billion portion of the Platform portfolio. In 2017, Frank retired from MacDermid Performance Solutions and started Brass Axe Capital, an investment fund and consulting firm that holds various investment positions in the industrial, consumer, and retail market space. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University.


Chad Albano

Chad joined Drew Marine in December 2019 as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer from Element Solutions, Inc, a global NYSE-listed specialty chemicals company. At Element, he served as the Corporate Controller and most recently as the Global Controller of its Performance Solutions segment. Previously, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Transact Technologies, Inc. and Director of Finance at Amphenol Corporation, both publicly listed companies. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC where he spent over 10 years in its Assurance practice advancing to Senior Manager. He holds a B.S. Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford.


Pradeep Kumar Govindan

Pradeep was appointed Segment President, Marine Products and Services, in 2020 after having served as Regional Vice President (AMEA) and Segment Vice President, Marine Products and Services. Pradeep joined Drew Marine in 2001 as an Account Executive at Hong Kong and was promoted to the position of Sales Manager. He moved to the US headquarters after he was appointed as Technical Director at Drew Marine. His experience onboard ships as Chief Engineer supported his performance in these roles. After a brief stint as Technical Superintendent and General Manager at Tebma Shipyard in India, he returned to Drew Marine as Strategic Accounts Manager in Greece, where he led sales growth for the region while simultaneously launching Drew’s ‘Tech Global’ service structure in India. Pradeep holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Madras and a Class-I Marine Engineering Certification from United Kingdom.  He has been located in Singapore since 2016.

Jason Masi

Jason joined Drew Marine in December 2019 as Senior Vice President of Operations after spending the last several years with Element Solutions, Inc, a global NYSE-listed specialty chemicals company. At Element, formerly named Platform Specialty Products Corporation, he served since 2017 as the Vice President Finance APAC working to set-up a Finance organization based upon shared services in accounting, FP&A and production accounting. Previously, he served in roles of increasing responsibility for over 16 years in the USA, Australia and Singapore in Finance and Supply Chain with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), a Pharmaceutical and Consumer Healthcare company. He holds a B.A. High Distinction from Trinity College and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.


Carrie Fuller-McMahon

Carrie has a history of success leading, developing, and inspiring teams of colleagues and has served in leadership roles for three national organizations. Most recently, she served as a Chief Development Officer within a national health care system. “Leave things better than the way we found them” is a core value and has afforded her a career that does just that.  After leaving her CDO position, Carrie formed Apricity Consulting, an agency that offers training, staff and team development, and strategic planning support for organizations and companies. After consulting on a project for Drew, Carrie accepted a position as the Vice President of Training and Development. Her passion for developing Drew’s ‘greatest assets’, their colleagues around the globe, has led to additional responsibilities that afforded Carrie a role as Senior Vice President, Human Capital, Training & Development. As Drew builds out its multiple business verticals, the depth of Drew’s bench of colleagues will become critical. 

Outside of work, Carrie sits on multiple non-profit boards, including the Foundation of Possibilities, which she formed in 2013 to help make an immediate impact on children from financially disadvantaged families by giving them the support they need to achieve ‘their best life’. Carrie received her Bachelor’s Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and her Master’s Degree from Bay Path University.

Don Cullen

Don Cullen joined Drew Marine as the Senior Vice President of Innovation in early 2020. In his 30 years as a research chemist, Don connected the dots from innovation management and industry consortia leadership to B2B marketing and technical communications.  Don studied Chemistry and Management of Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he was inspired to utilize chemistry as a tool for positive impact on a global scale.  At Drew, Don leads a renewed focus on Innovation, connects Strategic Marketing as a cross-functional resource, and commits to effective Communications to better serve our mission-critical global partnerships.
