Frank J. Monteiro
Frank was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a Board member of Drew Marine, in conjunction with Court Square Capital’s acquisition of the company in June 2019. From 1998-2013, Frank held various positions within MacDermid Incorporated, a global specialty chemicals company, including Treasurer, Vice President of Finance, and eventually Chief Financial Officer. MacDermid was a Court Square portfolio company from 2007-2013 which was sold to an investor group and went public on the New York Stock Exchange under the name Platform Specialty Products in October 2013. At that point, Frank was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Platform Specialty Products and served in that position until 2015. Frank spent his last two years at Platform as the Chief Operating Officer of MacDermid Performance Solutions, a $2.0 Billion portion of the Platform portfolio. In 2017, Frank retired from MacDermid Performance Solutions and started Brass Axe Capital, an investment fund and consulting firm that holds various investment positions in the industrial, consumer, and retail market space. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University.
Michael J. Cassaras
Michael has been the Senior Vice President of Global Sales since 2009. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Sales for EMEA based in Athens, Greece, from 2005 to 2009 as well as Regional Manager for North & South America. Before joining Drew Marine, he was Founder/Owner of Atlas Marine Services in Miami, Florida, serving the cruise industry. He attended the University of Florida.
Christina was appointed Vice President, Global Human Capital in 2019 after spending time with the company in an HR consulting role. Christina has been tasked with leading the emergence of a more agile, dynamic, team-based organization with a strong focus on building a performance-based culture. Christina possesses deep experience in implementing strategic solutions for the human side of organizations. Her work focuses on people delivering results that create and sustain a culture of high performance. Christina holds a B.S. in Management Science and an M.B.A. in Global Entrepreneurship & Business Administration from Excelsior University. Christina is also an ICF Certified Professional Coach and a Jack Canfield Success Principles Trainer.
Mark was appointed Senior Vice President of Strategy and Optimization in 2019, after having served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Services and corporate IT. He joined the company in late 2009 from the Carlyle Group, a large global private equity firm, where he held the executive leadership position at a portfolio company Landmark Aviation, overseeing 4 businesses in strategic business integration and transformation, operational excellence and corporate IT strategy. Prior to Carlyle, Mark was with GE and Philips Electronics, in executive vice president roles, engaged in business development, M&A, shared-services, finance and Six Sigma/Lean process improvement across a diversity of industries from chemical, transportation, aerospace, consumer retail and high tech. He holds a B.S. in Math and Engineering from Monmouth University in New Jersey.
David was appointed as Vice President & Treasurer of Drew Marine in September 2019 after having served as Corporate Treasurer of Arysta LifeScience since June 2018. In his prior roles, his responsibilities included capital markets, financial planning, foreign exchange risk management and merger integration. Prior to joining Drew Marine, David held treasury and corporate finance positions at Platform Specialty Products Corporation, Cenveo Inc., Lydall Inc. and Chemtura Corporation. He completed his undergraduate studies at Bryant University and has an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
Chad joined Drew Marine in December 2019 as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer from Element Solutions, Inc, a global NYSE-listed specialty chemicals company. At Element, he served as the Corporate Controller and most recently as the Global Controller of its Performance Solutions segment. Previously, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer of Transact Technologies, Inc. and Director of Finance at Amphenol Corporation, both publicly listed companies. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC where he spent over 10 years in its Assurance practice advancing to Senior Manager. He holds a B.S. Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford.
